Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled Forecasting Planner – Manager – English – Hybrid Katowice to join our team. As a key member of our forecasting team, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining statistical forecasts for our portfolio across all time horizons. Your expertise in advanced planning systems, statistical techniques, and collaboration will be essential in driving business growth and improving forecast accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain statistical forecasts for the portfolio, considering demand drivers at the agreed hierarchy level.
- Research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, and evaluate forecast performance.
- Monitor and report on specific KPIs (e.g., forecast accuracy, forecast BIAS, MAPE, forecast value add) at multiple levels and lags, and provide insights on contributing factors and improvement opportunities.
- Monitor performance of assigned portfolio, team capabilities, tools & techniques.
- Guide the team on scenario modeling, AI techniques, and data usage.
- For new product introductions, analyze proposal of like-SKU and collaborate with Demand Planners to generate the initial forecasts, additionally consider cannibalization impacts.
- Optimize and tune statistical forecasts, updating system parameters after conducting the necessary analysis to identify improvement opportunities.
- Track and monitor changes to allow for continuous improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain management, applied math, or other relevant degree.
- Strong understanding of at least advanced planning systems and its functionality, e.g., Kinaxis, o9 Solutions.
- Knowledge of ERP functionality, experience with SAP / Oracle / JDE an asset.
- Demonstrated experience in Forecasting (Statistical Techniques, Collaboration Scenario Modeling, Parameters modeling).
- Strong analytical skills.
- Exceptional drive, excellent interpersonal skills, and effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing, with the ability to immediately contribute in a collaborative team environment.
