**Area Lead Opportunity**

Amentum is seeking a highly skilled Area Lead to join our team in support of the European Command (EUCOM). This program will provide linguist support services to EUCOM, including logistics management and linguist support necessary to interpret, translate, and transcribe information in support of EUCOM operations.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Assist the Program Manager with daily site operations and resourcing of requirements within designated areas.
  • Assist the Program Manager with day-to-day operational activities at respective sites.
  • Act as the point of contact for the respective site(s).
  • Ensure that operational processes facilitate meeting performance/mission requirements.

**Requirements:**

  • May be required to obtain a government security clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in business management, Human Resources, or a related field, or an Associate degree (or European equivalent) in any field plus 5 years' experience as an interpreter, translator, ESL or foreign language instructor, or linguist supervisor or linguist program manager.
  • Must be fluent C2/C2 (CEF Scale) in a Slavic or East European language (Ukrainian, Polish, Russian, Serbian/Bosnian/Croatian, Bulgarian, Czech, Slovak, Slovenian, Albanian, Hungarian, or Romanian).
  • Minimum 5 years of management/administrative experience within the United States Army Europe and Africa (USAREUR) required.
  • Experience as an interpreter, translator, ESL or foreign language instructor, or linguist supervisor or linguist program EUCOM Theater area of operations preferred.
  • Possess communication skills to effectively interface with military officials, managers, and subordinates.
