Job Title: Continuous Improvement Manager

At TE Connectivity, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Continuous Improvement Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Global Project Management Office, you will play a critical role in building and sustaining a culture of continuous improvement within our Financial Solution Center (FSC) in EMEA.

Job Overview

This role will be responsible for creating, implementing, and sustaining overall continuous improvement and lean manufacturing programs within the FSC. You will work closely with all levels of management within the Krakow FSC and coordinate/implement initiatives globally within the other regional FSCs in Suzhou and San Jose.

Responsibilities:
  1. Act as a single point of contact and change agent within the FSC for all continuous improvement related activities/initiatives.
  2. Lead the continuous improvement initiatives and promote culture changes in FSC using TE Operating Advantage (TE tailored CI tools & program), CI tools and principles.
  3. Work with the FSC leadership to develop comprehensive CI strategies that support organizational goals.
  4. Responsible for educating and training FSC personnel on the use and practice of continuous improvement methodology and tools.
  5. Partner with FSC Management Team to identify improvement opportunities within current functional processes with emphasis on improving service quality, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
  6. Works closely with Automation Team in his/her region to ensure that projects identified are aligned with the prioritization and goals of the FSCs.
  7. Assist with the selection, scoping and prioritization of process improvements projects based on resource and budget requirements.
  8. Lead functional or project teams in executing projects and provide guidance during the project execution.
  9. Perform impact analysis for process changes undertaken as requested by management.
  10. Monitor and report progress of continuous improvement initiatives within the FSC.
  11. Manage projects or initiatives within the region or globally as assigned by PMO or FSC Management.
  12. Meet regularly with other CI Managers in other FSCs and share practices/challenges identified in his/her region to promote collaboration and team work.
  13. Interacts and/or negotiates effectively with external/internal customers at all levels. Communicate significance and impact of process changes to internal and external stakeholders and help them learn, understand, adjust and grow with the change.
  14. Deploy TEOA (TE Operating Advantage) requirements to all FSC personnel and ensure to achieve the required Star Level Requirements target; Promote TEOA success stories to inspire engagement in TEOA across the FSC.
Requirements:
  1. 5-7 years of experience in similar position or in project management in/ working on process improvement / six sigma / lean initiatives.
  2. 2+ years of experience on managerial positions, ideally in CI Management or Project Management.
  3. Experience in managing CI projects related to Finance & Accounting process and Kaizen events facilitation ideally in Shared Services environment.
  4. Experience in working with different technologies will be an asset (i.e. SAP/ Celonis/High Radius/Tableau/Power BI).
  5. Lean principles, Six Sigma, and Change Management: Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt is a plus.
  6. Knowledge of project management methodology (PMP, Prince, Agile or equivalent) will be an asset.
  7. Proven track of successfully implemented business process improvement in SSC/BPO/administrative functions in a complex, global, matrix organization.
  8. Capable of working independently and applying analytical skills to accounting processes.
  9. Ability to leverage ERP to ensure service quality and operational excellence.
  10. Ability to balance multiple priorities.
  11. Completed degree in higher education (preferably Industrial Engineering/ Finance / Accounting / Business Administration).
