Commercial Director

We are seeking a highly experienced Commercial Director to join our team at Colas. As a world leader in the road industry, we are looking for a talented individual to lead our sales and marketing efforts in Poland.
Main Responsibilities- Develop and implement a country and agency strategy based on industry expertise and collaboration with the management team
- Implement and monitor KPIs for sales teams in relation to customer centers
- Drive business development through existing and new segments, as well as niche market development
- Promote technical offers and products, working closely with technical management and operational staff
- Establish and implement commercial action plans with agencies and ensure their implementation and monitoring
- Structure marketing approaches for entities to better understand their market and support operational and research teams
- Conduct economic studies for product launches or development
- Research the competitive environment and monitor market activities
- Manage sales teams and represent the company at events and conferences
- Conduct market studies for acquisitions and coordinate external communication with clients
- Build international business relationships
- Higher education in sales and marketing, management, or a related field
- At least 10 years of experience, with 3 years in a similar position
- Knowledge of the market and products in the construction and mining sector in Poland
- Analytical skills to support business decisions with data-based market insights
- Negotiation skills and ability to create long-term business relationships
- Leadership and planning skills, with experience in construction and mining a plus
- Fluent English, with additional French a plus
- MS Office knowledge and a valid driving license
