The Supplier Quality & Development (SQ&D) NCE team is responsible for strategically and operationally developing key suppliers within the region. This involves conducting audits and supplier assessments to evaluate compliance, performance, and areas for improvement. Additionally, the team handles Quality, Safety, and Environment (QSE) improvement projects to promote higher supplier performance.
Key responsibilities include facilitating supplier assessments, performance reviews, and capability development to ensure compliance with Vestas' quality standards. Implementing entry strategies for new markets and onboard suppliers while ensuring adherence to Vestas' processes and requirements is also essential.
Collaboration with regional stakeholders is necessary to facilitate and complete supplier improvement initiatives. Guiding and overseeing QSE activities in cases of supplier non-conformance, ensuring corrective actions align with Vestas' standards, is also required.
A Master's or bachelor's degree in engineering and minimum 8 years of experience in supplier management are necessary. Extensive experience in managing suppliers and handling quality, process, and safety improvement projects is also required.
