Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled General Ledger Expert to join our Corporate Finance team in Krakow, Poland. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial data in the general ledger.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and approve monthly journal entries, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data in the general ledger according to US GAAP and corporate accounting policies.
  • Ensure timely and accurate generation of financial reports and analysis for internal and external stakeholders, utilizing your expertise in financial data analysis.
  • Liaise with Business Units to complete various SOX controls around Internally Developed Software, demonstrating your attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Maintain appropriate documentation for all responsible SOX controls, showcasing your ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Support the audit process by providing documentation and explanations for financial transactions, highlighting your analytical skills.
  • Prepare complex monthly balance sheet reconciliations, leveraging your knowledge of financial systems and processes.
  • Review and analyze account reconciliations prepared by junior staff members, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
  • Lead the investigation and resolution of discrepancies and reconciling items in a timely manner, exhibiting your leadership skills.
  • Provide guidance on complex accounting issues and transactions, serving as a valuable resource to your team.
  • Actively participate in the monthly closing process, including expense and balance sheet account analysis pertaining to owned areas, demonstrating your commitment to excellence.
