Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Strategist to lead the implementation of our business development strategies and drive growth in the engineering industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute business plans to engage with selected customer representatives and identify new opportunities in various sectors.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients and develop customized solutions for them.
  • Collaborate closely with the Engineering Team to ensure alignment between customer needs and business requirements.
  • Contribute to short and long-term plant development plans and assist in defining strategic objectives.
  • Identify market potentials and new clients based on our business objectives.
  • Generate new business relationships through research and inbound leads, while also building and nurturing networks.
  • Actively participate in projects to develop customized solutions for clients.
  • Lead client acquisition efforts from initial contact to contract closure.
  • Prioritize prospects based on customer needs, focusing on building strategic partnerships rather than transactional sales.
  • Perform analysis to understand market trends and provide actionable insights to drive optimal outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Higher education in specialty: Chemical Technology, Chemical and Process Engineering, Bio-technology or derivatives
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in industries such as pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, oil & gas, or metallurgy
  • Proven track record of winning contracts within one or more of the aforementioned sectors
  • Demonstrated initiative in independently initiating new activities and motivating others to take action
  • Proficiency in English or German languages at a communicative level
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Ability to thrive and deliver results under time pressure
