Job Title: Payroll Specialist with German

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Specialist with German language proficiency to join our team at Air Liquide Polska Sp. z o.o. in Poland. As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing and monitoring payroll data, ensuring that processes and data are in place for payroll processing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepares and monitors payroll data to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Conducts start of year and end of year payroll administration activities, working closely with 3rd party providers.
  • Manages and maintains company payroll processes, ensuring that they are efficient and effective.
  • Responds to and processes requests for changes to payroll data, ensuring that all changes are accurately reflected in the payroll system.
  • Monitors payroll input data quality and process payroll impacts, as well as payroll output (payroll reports, reconciliations reports).
  • Works with 3rd party providers to investigate payroll queries and resolve any issues that may arise.

Requirements:

  • Experience as a Payroll Specialist, preferably in a shared services environment.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of people.
  • Ability to ask relevant questions to understand and clarify issues, attempt resolution, and escalate problems if unable to resolve.
  • Ownership and capability of working independently, taking initiative, and following up on assigned projects.
  • Ability to act in a confidential and sensitive manner, with a high sense of commitment and responsibility.
  • Ability to work under pressure and time constraints, with a strong focus on delivering results.
  • IT savvy and resourceful, with the ability to leverage various tools (knowledge management, document management, HR systems) to obtain required information to resolve queries and issues.

Language Requirements:

  • English and German, minimum intermediate level.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ServiceNow and Workday experience.
