Overview

We are seeking an experienced Regional Development Director to lead our operations in Central and Eastern Europe. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a strategic plan to promote IE Business School among companies, students, professionals, government institutions, education organizations, media, and other partners and target groups in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategies to recruit candidates for Master and University Degrees, as well as Executive Education programs, and implement them.
  • Build brand awareness for IE Business School within the market through various channels.
  • Plan and execute commercial events to promote IE in the market(s), including representing IE at Educational Fairs, local or regional presentations, training sessions, orientation programs, career days, etc.
  • C coordinate the marketing and communication strategy implementation with the Marketing and Communications departments.
  • B uild and maintain alumni and parent relations in coordination with the Alumni Relations Department and support Alumni Clubs, coordinate events for the Alumni community in the region and identify new members of this growing community.
  • Share best practices with the regional and global team.
  • Stay up to date about competitors' activities in the market and update Regional Director.
  • Represent IE at important events in the region, local mass media management.
  • Continuously report progress on activities to the Regional Director and the respective person in Madrid.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate has:

  • MBA or a Masters' degree from IE Business School, or other leading school.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in business development, sales, marketing, or communications.
  • Business English is a formal requirement, and any other European language is a plus.
  • European working permit is mandatory.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Central and Eastern Europe market is a plus.
  • Proven communication skills, entrepreneurial spirit, and commercial drive.
  • Strong teamwork capability and positive customer-oriented style.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Must be strategic, innovative, creative, and embrace new approaches and technology.
  • Solution-oriented and positive/can-do attitude.
  • A general understanding of CRM and marketing analytics software, and an able user of technology for performance management.

Estimated Salary: €60,000 - €80,000 per annum (dependent on experience), based on similar roles in the industry and considering the cost of living in Warsaw. This figure includes a range to reflect individual circumstances and growth potential.
