Project Senior Specialist, Product Change Expert

About the Role

The Project Senior Specialist, Product Change role is a key position within Mondelēz International's organizational structure, responsible for project managing business change initiatives. This includes product innovation, pack change, quality improvement, and limited edition projects, from initiation to implementation and launch.

This role interfaces extensively with various departments, including Consumer Marketing, Customer Development, Finance, RD&Q, Quality, Legal, and Global Supply Chain, to deliver projects within specified time, cost, and quality parameters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project planning: definition of project scopes, goals, tasks, and resource requirements.
  • Cross-functional project team management: identifying and engaging cross-functional representatives to deliver the project brief.
  • Monitoring project progress and providing corrective action if necessary.
  • Maintaining project documentation and reporting to communicate clear project status, key timings, issues, and risks.
  • Maintaining quality communication with all functions engaged in the project, including representation of projects at senior forums.
  • Ensuring suitable risk assessment and contingency planning to keep the project on track.
  • Ensuring project scopes and timing take into consideration minimizing waste and unwanted complexity.
  • Ensuring correct Product Labeling Specifications handling, Artwork process coordination, and Co-packing handling.

Requirements

  • Project Management experience and knowledge, preferably in New Product Launches or Product Change.
  • Working knowledge of the supply chain and basic supply chain principles is an advantage.
  • Qualifications – degree level or equivalent, Project Management qualification an advantage.
  • FMCG experience is a benefit.
  • Ability to demonstrate strong meetings management, advanced facilitation, and communication skills across a broad range of stakeholders.
  • Strong initiative to problem-solving and framing alternative solutions and driving delivery.
  • Process-oriented – ability to monitor, measure, and report.
  • High level of experience with computer applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, etc.
  • Experience or eagerness to develop in team management will be a plus.
