We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to support our global business, drive value, and foster growth.
This role offers a unique opportunity to lead impactful digital transformation projects on a global scale and contribute to the strategic growth of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team management: Manage teams in multiple time zones, planning, setting up scope, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, managing projects using agile and iterative project methodologies.
- Project delivery: Drive on-time and on-budget delivery of projects from Initiate to Close.
- Stakeholder management: Facilitate internal and supplier meetings, pro-active Stakeholder Management, and engage on individual needs.
- Change management: Manage project scope and identify the need for and develop change orders.
- Risk & escalation management: Identify and manage risks and issues, including escalations.
- Project governance & compliance: Ensure adherence to Hitachi Energy delivery methodology, including project controls.
Requirements:
- Experience and knowledge area: Minimum 5+ years of professional working experience in IT Project Management (Software Engineering background will be a plus), highly proficient in project methodologies, including project financials and management principles.
- Communication & language skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, English at a minimum B2 business level.
- Soft skills: Strong relationship, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills, highly organized with attention to detail.
- Leadership and project management skills: Ability to lead and motivate a team, ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, ability to assess and mitigate risk.
- Good knowledge of ITIL V3 and/or V4 (certification will be an advantage).
