As part of our Collections team in Krakow, we are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our ranks as a Collections Analyst.
Your Impact on WestRock
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring timely collection of past due accounts in accordance with corporate policies. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Proactively following up with customers via email and phone to resolve billing issues and maintain positive relationships.
- Gaining a thorough understanding of billing processes and procedures to effectively manage customer accounts.
- Owning and managing assigned ledgers of accounts to ensure accurate and timely collections.
- Interrogating 3rd party portals and systems to obtain necessary information for collections purposes.
- Facilitating the quick resolution of queries both with customers and internally.
- Sending monthly statements to customers and providing copies of invoices and credits as required.
- Maintaining accurate records in prescribed formats and systems to ensure seamless operations.
- Raising billing issues in line with internal structures to ensure prompt resolution.
- Providing direction and assistance to other plants regarding accounts receivable policies and procedures.
- Attending collections meetings with key stakeholders to discuss strategic initiatives and best practices.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a highly organized and systematic individual with excellent communication skills and experience in interacting with external customers and internal divisions. The ideal candidate should possess:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in B2B collections.
- Experience in B2B collections environments with a strong understanding of legal entity structures.
- Fluency in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced MS Excel skills to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
What We Offer
As a valued member of our team, you can expect a competitive salary ranging from $60,000 to $80,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience and qualifications. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including private medical services, life insurance, holiday pay bonus, cafeteria system, one additional leave day every 3rd work anniversary, free parking space, hybrid working model, and annual bonus based on company performance.
