Job Description:

In this role, you will be responsible for the management and control of the General Ledger for assigned Arrow companies. This includes completing all relevant month-end financial close procedures, including necessary accruals and prepayments activities. You will also prepare and be responsible for all necessary internal reporting required within Europe and to US head office.

The position involves a range of tasks, including facilities and restructuring accounting and control, Sarbanes Oxley controls, hedging and revaluation, headcount reporting, statutory accounting and corporation tax work, statutory/Corporate reconciliations and European consolidation, VAT, Intrastat and Sales List Reporting, submission of Vat Returns and related compliance, and support and involvement with all audit work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the fixed asset register and liaise with accounts payable clerks and other business areas as required.
  • Prepare any necessary variance analysis for the above tasks.
  • Support other accountants within the team on a variety of tasks to meet the total needs of the finance department.
  • Involvement with developing new/efficient processes/procedures within the accounting team.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in all-round accounting.
  • Good knowledge of general accounting and reporting processes.
  • Fluent English language skills.
  • Experience with making an accrual, prepaid, VAT, balance sheet reconciliation.
  • Advanced Excel and data manipulation skills.
  • Results-driven person who can work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Able to prioritize tasks.
