At Hitachi Energy Poland Sp. Z o.o., we are committed to shaping the future of energy by developing innovative technologies. We are currently seeking a Senior R&D Digital Electronics Engineer in HVDC Systems to join our team in Krakow.

Our team is responsible for designing and developing high-performance digital control systems for High-Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) applications. As a Senior R&D Digital Electronics Engineer, you will play a key role in developing cutting-edge solutions that enable efficient and reliable transmission of electricity over long distances.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the full lifecycle of digital platform development, from requirements gathering to testing and release.
  • Design and develop digital electronics systems, including high-speed digital control boards and I/O measurement systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electronic hardware, FPGA, and embedded software.
  • Drive processes and tools improvement activities to enhance team productivity and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Practical knowledge of hardware electronics design process and tools, including SPICE, Altium, PADS, and Zuken CADSTAR.
  • Experience with laboratory test and measurement equipment and circuit boards testing, reworking.
  • Strong commitment to Agile work practices and dedication to follow all relevant workplace safety guidelines.
  • A high level of self-motivation, curiosity, and desire to learn about new technologies.
