About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Electronics Engineer to join our R&D team in Krakow, Poland. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing hardware platforms for our HVDC Control and Protection system.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in the full lifecycle of hardware platform development, from idea to release and sustaining production.
  • Design and develop robust hardware platforms, including analogue/digital electronics, high-speed optoelectronics, and gate drivers.
  • Work with simulations, parts selection, schematics, and layout to ensure optimal design.
  • Conduct prototyping, validation, and testing to ensure high-quality results.
  • Prepare and manage technical documentation to support the development process.
  • Participate in technical reviews and project planning to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements

  • Practical knowledge of hardware electronics design process and tools, such as SPICE, Altium, PADS, and Zuken CADSTAR.
  • Experience with laboratory test and measurement equipment and circuit boards testing and reworking.
  • Strong commitment to SAFe (Agile) work practices and dedication to follow all relevant workplace safety guidelines.
  • A high level of self-motivation, curiosity, and desire to learn about new technologies.
  • A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach, and good communication skills.
  • Knowledge of design reliability methodologies, such as DFMEA and MTBF.
  • Awareness of relevant industry standards and methodology.
  • English language proficiency at least Intermediate / B2 / Technical communication level.
