About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Hardware Electronics Engineer to join our R&D team in HVDC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing cutting-edge hardware solutions for our HVDC control and protection systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in the full lifecycle of hardware platform development, from idea to release and sustaining production.
  • Design and develop robust hardware solutions, including analogue/digital electronics, high-speed electronics, and power electronics.
  • Work with simulations, parts selection, schematics, and layout to ensure efficient and effective design.
  • Prototype, verify, and validate hardware solutions to ensure they meet requirements.
  • Prepare and manage technical documentation to support hardware development.
  • Drive technical reviews and project planning to ensure successful hardware development.

About You

  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • At least 5 years' experience in hardware design, with a strong focus on analogue and digital circuits.
  • Practical knowledge of hardware design process and tools, such as SPICE, Altium, PADS, and Zuken CADSTAR.
  • Experience with laboratory test and measurement equipment and circuit boards testing, reworking.
  • Strong commitment to safe work practices and dedication to following all relevant workplace safety guidelines.
