About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Lead Buyer to join our global Corporate Procurement team within the Raw Materials and API categories. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for executing sourcing projects, applying category management tools and methodologies, and supporting the efficient operation of the Category Team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute sourcing projects ranging from renegotiations to RFx or complex competitive tenders.
  • Support Line of Business and key stakeholders in Lundbeck organization under the guidance of Senior Category Managers.
  • Support the efficient operation of the Category Team, and actively communicate with the SCM and Line Manager regarding workload and prioritization.
  • Support vendor contract negotiations (prolongations, sustainability addendums, new vendor contracting).
  • Be an all-time ambassador representing Corporate Procurement.
  • Based on needs, that role may require occasional support pre-aligned activities in packaging or contract manufacturing areas.
