About the Role:

The successful European Business Growth Specialist will play a critical role in driving business expansion and securing strategic project sales in the European market. This is an exceptional opportunity to leverage your expertise and experience to drive growth and profitability for our Measurement Solutions group.

In this challenging role, you will be responsible for identifying and qualifying mega-project opportunities, developing sales strategies, and leading collaboration efforts to drive team success. Your ability to build relationships with key customers, FEED/EPC contractors, and major partners will be crucial to achieving business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mega-Project Identification and Qualification: Target strategic projects in the (pre)FEED phases and maintain a clear mega-project horizon funnel.
  • Sales Strategy Development: Understand project dynamics, develop sales strategies, and form pursuit teams to secure premium wins.
  • Collaboration and Leadership: Drive the sales strategy, guide sales resources, and support team members through a structured pursuit sales process over multiple years.
  • Relationship Building: Establish connections with key customers, FEED/EPC contractors, and major partners.
  • Value Creation: Position Measurement Solutions differentiated value propositions tailored to customer needs, introduce new product offerings, and negotiate effectively.
  • Executive Engagement: Work with executive management to leverage opportunities and improve competitive advantages.
  • Mentorship and Development: Coach project sales teams, provide upskilling, and ensure effective pursuit leadership and pricing guidance.

About You:

You are a highly motivated and results-driven professional with a proven track record in sales and business development. You possess excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Extensive sales experience in the process automation industry.
  • Knowledge of consultative and professional selling techniques.
  • Proven leading-by-influence and collaboration skills.
  • Understanding of CAPEX Project and EPC's working methods.
  • Strong expertise in Automation and Instrumentation techniques.
  • Proven ability to build relationships with new clients at all levels of the customer's organization.
  • Outstanding negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, in English.
