The Talent Application Manager role plays a crucial part in managing and optimizing our IT applications and systems related to talent management, learning management, and employee development. As an IT Application Manager, you will oversee the full lifecycle management of talent and learning applications, including implementation, configuration, customization, testing, deployment, maintenance, and support.

Your key responsibilities:

  1. Manage application lifecycles: Oversee the entire process from implementation to maintenance, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
  2. Lead IT projects: Manage and deliver IT projects related to talent and learning applications and integrations, meeting deadlines and adhering to budget constraints.
  3. Design integrations: Develop and maintain integrations between talent and learning applications and other systems within the organization, ensuring data flow and synchronization.
  4. Enhance systems: Continuously improve the performance, usability, and effectiveness of talent and learning systems.
  5. Gather requirements: Collaborate with HR, Learning and Development, and stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical specifications.
  6. Communicate effectively: Establish and maintain effective communication channels with project stakeholders, providing regular updates and managing expectations.
  7. Vendor engagement: Engage with external vendors and manage vendor relationships, collaborating to deliver high-quality solutions.
  8. Data analytics: Collaborate with data analytics teams to ensure accurate and timely data integration, extraction, transformation, and reporting.
  9. Security compliance: Ensure that talent and learning systems comply with data privacy and security standards.

Your qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computer Science. A master's degree is advantageous.
  • 5+ years of experience as an IT Application Manager or similar role, preferably in the talent management or learning and development domain.
  • Strong understanding of HR Domain topics, including talent management and learning processes and systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills are essential.
  • Analytical skills are required to connect data and processes to create and manage IT Solutions.
  • Proficiency in API integration and advanced MS Excel & Power BI for Data Analytics & Reporting.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based technologies (Azure) and services.
