Job Overview:

Aon is seeking a Senior Leader to drive the company's data and digital transformation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a high-impact team of enterprise architects and technology strategists.

About the Role:

  • Leadership and Team Development: You will lead and mentor a team of architects and technology strategists, fostering a high-performance culture aligned with Aon's business objectives.
  • Strategic IT Roadmap: Develop and execute a comprehensive IT roadmap to support Aon's transformation, aligning technology with business goals.
  • Data Architecture Leadership: Define and implement enterprise Data Architecture strategies, including data modeling, data integration, data governance, and cloud-based data platforms.
  • Technology and Digital Platform Architecture: Define and deliver future-state architectures integrating people, processes, and technology for data and digital solutions.
  • Application Portfolio Management (APM): Oversee the ServiceNow APM function, ensuring a unified source of truth for applications.
  • EA Tool Implementation: Drive the adoption of enterprise architecture tools such as ServiceNow APM, LeanIX, and BizzDesign.
  • Reference Architecture and Standards: Establish and maintain Reference Architectures and technology standards.
  • Data Governance and Quality: Collaborate with data owners and business units to implement effective data governance frameworks.
  • Intelligent Automation: Champion intelligent automation initiatives.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with senior business and technology leaders to ensure solutions meet organizational needs.
  • Technology Risk Management: Proactively assess and mitigate risks associated with IT and data investments.
  • Transformation Leadership: Spearhead data and digital platform transformation initiatives.

Requirements:

  • 15+ years of progressive IT experience: Including expertise in IT strategy, data architecture, and data and digital transformation.
  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role: With a strong track record of success in leading data and digital platform transformation initiatives.
  • Extensive expertise in Data Architecture: Including data modeling, data integration platforms, and cloud-based data solutions.
  • Strong record of success in Application Portfolio Management (APM): With experience in managing complex application portfolios.
  • Experience with enterprise architecture tools: Including ServiceNow APM, LeanIX, and BizzDesign.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead data and digital platform transformation initiatives: With a strong understanding of business needs and technology capabilities.
  • Strong background in defining and implementing Reference Architectures: With experience in establishing and maintaining technology standards.
  • Practical experience with intelligent automation: With a proven track record of championing automation initiatives.
  • Excellent technical and strategic communication skills: With the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of mentoring and developing high-performing teams: With a strong focus on leadership development and team growth.
