At TE Connectivity, we offer an exciting opportunity for a Finance and Accounting Analyst Intern to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will play a vital role in developing, implementing, and maintaining accounting systems.

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to support the development, implementation, and maintenance of one or more accounting systems: journal entries, general ledger, accounts receivables, accounts payable, revenue reconciliation, cash flows, etc., in accordance with GAAP policies and procedures.

You will be responsible for designing operational procedures and processes that meet audit standards and improve efficiency. This includes supporting general ledger accounting, posting accrual and corrective journal entries, operating lease accounting transactions via NAKISA tool, completing specific month-end close tasks, preparing specifications and reconciliations of general ledger accounts, supporting fixed assets accounting activities, and supporting intercompany accounting with debit notes postings.

Responsibilities
  • Support general ledger accounting for respective entities
  • Post accrual and corrective journal entries
  • Operate lease accounting transactions via NAKISA tool
  • Complete specific month-end close tasks
  • Prepare specifications and reconciliations of general ledger accounts
  • Support fixed assets accounting activities for the entities
  • Support intercompany accounting with debit notes postings
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting required by the region
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the R2R function
  • Evaluate robust compliance environment with applicable policies, procedures, and processes
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Active student of finance and accounting faculties
  • Ability to work in culturally diverse teams with many levels of personnel
  • Ability to work with deadlines
  • Progress in graduation for a degree in Finance / Accounting
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Good command in English
  • Good analytical skills. Ability to identify and resolve problems
