Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior General Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for daily bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivables, end-of-month close, audit procedures (internal and external), cash management, financial reporting, audit preparation, tax management.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department
  • Monitor and analyze accounting data, producing financial reports and statements
  • Prepare all financial reports for headquarters and official financial statements and cash flow forecasts
  • Coordinate and complete annual audits
  • Establish and maintain all tax files and records to document transactions, paying all tax duties on time, preparing tax returns (VAT, CIT)
  • Manage banks and treasury, fixed assets,
  • Cooperate with external institutions (Tax Office, NBP, ZUS, others)
  • Revenue and expenditure variance analysis
  • Participate in financial projects and initiatives aimed at optimizing accounting and financial processes
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in a similar position, preferably gained in a manufacturing company
  • Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations, as well as Polish tax duties
  • Very good level of English (B2/C1)
  • Advanced computer skills on MS Office, Excel, and SAP
  • Practical knowledge of tax regulations in the area of VAT and CIT
  • General knowledge of US GAAP
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to direct, supervise, and lead a team
Estimated Salary: 120,000 - 150,000 PLN per yearBenefits:
