Job Title: UE5 Level Designer

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Level Designer to join our team at Techland S.A. as we develop a new IP and continue to work on Dying Light and a fantasy game.

As a Level Designer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and scripting gameplay locations, iterating, and optimizing levels to ensure a seamless player experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Co-create and transform the project vision into a playable environment, implementing and adapting game mechanics to space, such as enemy AI, combat systems, and player interactions.
  • Closely collaborate with specialists from various fields, including art, programming, design, audio, animation, and more.
  • Test levels for bugs, gameplay issues, and overall player experience, collecting feedback from team members and players to improve levels and gameplay.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to your levels and gameplay.

Requirements:

  • Passion for game development and at least 2-3 years of experience as a Level Designer or equivalent experience in the industry.
  • Ability to design and create engaging, understandable, and aesthetically credible game environments that provide diverse gameplay.
  • Good knowledge of Unreal Engine 5 and problem-solving skills to address complex game development challenges.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Good knowledge of English and willingness to share knowledge, exchange experiences, and think outside the box.
