About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Section Manager to join our Group Technology team in Poznań. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a growing team of approximately 8 employees, including the mechanical CAD team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the team, setting goals, planning, and organizing tasks, maintaining standards for CAD design, and joint development of these.
  • Assign, prioritize, and evaluate time required for tasks, set and manage expectations around work allocation, and support employees to manage their time effectively.
  • Quality control and guidance to ensure outputs are in line with the CAD manual and good engineering practice.
  • Engage with project engineers in GT to ensure correct prioritization of tasks, adjustment of deadlines, and resolution of issues related to quality and expectations.
  • Provide timely feedback and maintain professional communication with relevant stakeholders.
  • Provide leadership, motivation, and mentoring to the team to align them with goals and ensure high performance.
  • Proactively address people-related issues by maintaining close relationships with employees and helping each individual in the team to develop.
  • Support the development of new tools and processes and support the remaining GT team in Poznań.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in people management.
  • Work experience as a mechanical designer in an international environment would be an asset.
  • Knowledge of Inventor, AutoCAD, and Vault.
  • Strong knowledge in other AutoDesk software.
  • Ability to introduce necessary improvements and simple solutions.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to details.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, results-oriented, and service-minded.
  • Fluency in English.
