The Opportunity

We are seeking a talented Business Development Manager to join our team in Eastern Europe and Turkey. This role offers a unique opportunity to drive revenue growth, cultivate customer relationships, and identify new business opportunities within the region.

Key Accountabilities

  • Drive revenue growth through the development and execution of sales strategies in Eastern Europe and Turkey.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, as well as identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Stay up-to-date on market trends, opportunities, and risks within the target market sectors by collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Maintain the highest level of business compliance and quality standards.

Requirements

  • Extensive sales experience with a proven track record of success in attracting new customers within the high-tech product sector.
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of at least two of our key target markets: Construction, Automotive, Energy.
  • Background in specification-driven selling within a highly technical, materials science business.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and influencing skills, with the ability to form strong relationships with internal and external customers/stakeholders.
  • Proficient in using CRM systems to their full potential, with a preference for experience in Salesforce.com.
  • Technical/Engineering Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or similar materials science qualification.
