About the Role:

Lime is seeking a highly skilled Senior Electronics Engineer to lead and manage asset reliability risks, reducing maintenance costs of our existing and future fleet. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability of our fleet's electronic components, diagnosing and root causing electronic failures, and implementing creative solutions to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement asset reliability management strategies to minimize downtime and optimize fleet performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize power consumption and localization, aligning with sustainability and efficiency goals.
  • Design and develop electronic boards that serve as accessories for our existing products, enabling expanded functionality and improved user experiences.
  • Analyze and propose PCB changes to reduce costs while maintaining or improving performance and reliability.
  • Optimize the motor and power delivery systems to provide an energy-efficient design that aligns with our sustainability and cost-effectiveness goals.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • 10+ years of industry experience as a electronics engineer.
  • Proficient in PCB schematic design, production, and testing.
  • Nice to have: experience in designing complex connectivity (BT, Wifi, LTE, GPS) and Battery Management systems for micromobility.
  • Good at complex tasks solving in creative ways.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge.
  • Proactive, self-directed and result-oriented.
  • Effective collaborator who has demonstrated success working with cross functional partners (Operations, Quality, Reliability, ME and SW engineering).
