Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to perform debt collection activities, creating strong working relationships with our local Credit Team and other business partners. This role offers a unique opportunity to utilize Hungarian language on a daily basis while communicating with customers and stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Ensure timely and efficient debt collection from Shell operating units according to contractual terms.
  • Perform cash allocation and investigate payment discrepancies, taking necessary actions to resolve issues promptly.
  • Initiate disputes and monitor their resolution, maintaining open communication with relevant parties.
  • Manage blocked orders, analyzing situations and implementing effective solutions.
  • Compile required analysis, reports, and controls, providing actionable insights for continuous improvement.
  • Maintain high performance metrics, identifying areas for growth and suggesting strategic improvements.
  • Cultivate collaborative relationships with team members, business partners, and stakeholders, fostering a positive work environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • A very good command of the Hungarian language (C1 level).
  • A very good knowledge of English (B2/C1 level).
  • A degree in Economics, Accounting, or any related Finance/Business course is preferred.
  • One year of relevant work experience would be beneficial.
  • Previous experience with SAP is considered an asset.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A proactive approach, demonstrating full ownership of assigned tasks.
  • Good knowledge of Excel, applying it effectively in various contexts.
