SC Johnson has an opportunity for a Senior Payroll Specialist with French expertise.
Job Overview
End-to-end payroll processing for multiple countries, involving:
- Paying employees in a timely and accurate manner, primarily for France and other countries.
- Assisting with expatriate payroll and tax reporting for EMEA countries as required.
- Managing HR tickets and resolving issues for countries within the HR Delivery Centre.
- Partnering with colleagues to support payroll processes, cycles, and projects with the Centre of Excellence, HR Business Partners, business leaders, Global/Regional Finance, and other stakeholders within SCJ.
- Regularly reviewing and updating country toolboxes for relevant countries.
- Coordinating with Payroll vendors for EMEA countries directly responsible.
- Closely collaborating with Snr Payroll Specialists to assist where needed and with Local finance.
- Partnering with the Regional Payroll Manager and Associate Manager to implement changes in SCJ's compensation programs within and outside of WD, analyzing tax changes, and working with Seniors and Leaders to guide the approach with SCJ business partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline with 4 years of payroll experience in EMEA countries, focusing on French payroll.
- Certified Payroll Professional or country equivalent.
- Functional/industry/commercial knowledge, business acumen, and experience managing and prioritizing workload.
- Fluent English and French is a requirement.
