Job Title: Inventory Specialist

The Inventory Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the timely and accurate resolution of inventory requests related to cycle count adjustments and safety stock adjustments. This position requires a strong focus on investigating inventory trends, providing inventory-related solutions and guidance to the Operations teams, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to maintain accurate inventory levels in alignment with operational needs and company policies.
  • Implement and maintain inventory control procedures to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Enter and update inventory data in the inventory management system.
  • Generate and analyze inventory reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity within the inventory management system.
  • Monitor internal request systems to ensure timely resolution of safety stock update requests.
  • Investigate safety stock requests and determine appropriate stock levels.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies related to inventory management.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in English language (min. B2+).
  • Minimum of 2-4 years' experience in inventory management, preferably in the offshore drilling or related industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to drive cost-saving initiatives and enhance supply chain efficiency.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and internal stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment, managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools, such as ERP systems, transportation management systems (TMS), and Microsoft Office Suite.
