As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and timely transfer of goods to customers and efficient operations at ports and stockyards across the region. You will work closely with our Krakow office and London headquarters to achieve our goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain excellent relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, shipping agents, port authorities, and service providers.
  • Plan and oversee incoming and outgoing deliveries, including frequent visits to the port and manual inspections onsite to ensure quality and service as expected.
  • Oversee logistics, ports, and transport services, ensuring cost-effective delivery and efficient operations.
  • Plan and analyze budgets and expenditures to ensure cost-effective delivery.
  • Resolve complaints and issues regarding the supply chain.
  • Safeguard commodities through providing guidance on and taking preventive measures to ensure that commodities are preserved in good condition.
  • Supervise inventory management and oversee quality control, resolving customers' claims.
  • Plan and manage port and stockyard operations, ensuring efficient operations and supervising, monitoring, and reporting the performance of shipping agents, port operators, rail carries, and other ancillary contractors.
  • Contribute to the collection and analysis of data through market analysis, research, and networking with colleagues within the organization and key external stakeholders.
  • Establish and manage operations in locations outside the port terminals, ensuring proper screening and blending operations, and optimizing yields.
Requirements
  • Fluent in both Polish and English.
  • Self-motivated, proactive candidate with 5+ years' experience in a similar position.
  • A strong work ethic is required to help drive the team forward.
  • Clear communication skills, with a history of coordinating with a range of external & internal stakeholders to resolve any issues smoothly.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across locations, with a focused interaction with Krakow office and London headquarters.
