Finance Controlling Specialist

Job Summary:

As Finance Controlling Specialist, successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting and compliance with internal and external regulations. This role is to support the finance team in budgeting, reporting and financial analysis to drive strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contributing in the full Financial Reporting package for legal entity supported with commentary covering P&L, balance sheet and cash flow for its accuracy and completeness.
• Acting as an expert in IFRS reporting (corporate reporting) and advisory for the Business in this aspect
• Playing active role in the preparation of budgets and forecasts for overheads costs
• Driving deliverables of Operational team during Month-End ensuring in timely and accurate completion of key milestones
• Participating & contributing into business reviews meetings, especially: monthly actual results review and KPI reviews with LOC FD
• Ensuring business complies with all aspects of the internal / external financial control environment by performance and review of internal controls
• Being responsible for the inputs to the external and internal financial audits
• Working closely with cross-functional teams like TECH, Procurement and HR to support business initiatives and provide financial insights.
• Driving process improvements initiative for own scope. Supporting implementation of global changes in respective procedures and guidance driven by GPO/FRMC organizations
• Accountability for reporting of Tangible and Intangible Assets (incl. accounting for M&A and BD&L projects) and performance of respective SOX and business controls
• Calculating royalties from license contracts

Why you?

• Accounting degree / qualification (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) (acquired or in process of)
• 3 - 5 years of post-qualification experience or post degree
• Experience in Financial Reporting, Finance controlling or Audit Firm
• Practical experience with IFRS
• Experience of working in a Control / SOX environment
• Previous experience of SAP preferred
• Developed analytical skills
• Communication and organizational skills
• Outside of the box thinking and problem-solving skills
• Fluent English (minimum C1)
