Join us as a Product Support Specialist

Brown Brothers Harriman is currently recruiting a Product Support Specialist. As a Product Support Specialist, you will work both independently and as part of the project team. You will be providing technical support to the department by working with department staff and systems personnel in the analysis, design, and support of proposed and existing Administration applications. You will be assisting in the implementation of new applications and participating along to complete until and user testing, user training, and documentation of changes in operational procedures, as well as assisting in the execution of automation projects and support BPO management function.

Some of your key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting existing user applications including but not limited to eFront, Appian, and Oracle EPM
  • Supporting systems maintenance and administration by maintaining the static data
  • Build Subject Matter Expertise knowledge to compliment Client Service, Alts Product in the execution of investment case projects and deliverables
  • Assisting in ad hoc projects such as annual attestations, risk reviews, workflow analysis
  • Review operational issues with to identify product gaps and follow through on effective problem resolution with the supporting departments
  • Participating in analyzing and designing automated solutions to business problems

  • Assisting in the coordination and execution of User Acceptance Testing and implementation
  • Propose insightful, knowledgeable, and effective solutions to business, operational, and system problems

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required (0 - 1 year professional experience)
  • Fluent in English
  • Core business analytics skills including critical thinking, problem-solving, and ability to perform thorough root cause analysis
  • Communicate professionally, and constructively to effectively address and resolve problems with other sections and departments
  • Ability to work with business users and systems personnel in a team environment and effectively with virtual teams
  • Ability to adapt and work in changing environment and quickly under pressure
  • Understanding of fund accounting operations and financial knowledge
  • Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities and to learn and adapt to new products, technologies, and models
  • Working knowledge of MS Office
  • Understanding of fund accounting operations or financial knowledge is a plus
