Service Manager and Business Product OwnerPosition PurposeAs a member of Service Management Team, you will undertake a role that combines Service Manager and Business Product Owner responsibilities. In this dynamic position, you will play a vital role in ensuring the provision of top-notch services while also steering the strategic direction and advancement of business products or services. Your responsibilities will include managing service delivery processes, nurturing stakeholder relationships, defining product vision and strategy, and collaborating with diverse teams to deliver inventive solutions.What will you do – responsibilities:
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and sustain robust relationships with clients or internal stakeholders, grasp their needs, and proactively address concerns.
  • Product Strategy: Establish and communicate the vision, strategy, and roadmap for business products or services, aligning them with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Requirement Prioritization: Work with stakeholders to collect requirements, prioritize feature enhancements, and new capabilities based on business value and customer impact.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track service and product performance metrics, analyze trends, and pinpoint areas for enhancement to boost service quality and product effectiveness.
  • Continuous Improvement: Propel continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes, optimize resource utilization, and enhance service delivery and product quality.
  • Change Management: Spearhead change management endeavors related to service delivery processes and product development, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal disruption to stakeholders.
  • Team Leadership: Offer leadership and direction to teams of service delivery professionals and cross-functional product development teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.

  • Strong Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strategic Thinking: Skill in thinking strategically and aligning service delivery initiatives and product strategies with broader organizational goals.
  • Stakeholder Management: Proven track record in building and nurturing relationships with clients or internal stakeholders.
  • Product Management: Demonstrated experience in product management, encompassing product planning, development, and launch.
  • Agile Methodologies: Proficiency in Agile methodologies to steer iterative product development and service delivery.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Robust analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues, craft solutions, and propel process improvements.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality services and innovative products.
  • Change Management: Experience in spearheading change management initiatives and driving organizational adoption of new products or processes.
  • Risk Management: Understanding of risk management principles and experience in recognizing and mitigating operational risks in service delivery and product development.
  • Familiarity with ITIL: Experience with ITIL v4 practices is highly regarded, along with the capacity to implement and document procedures accordingly.
