For our client international manufacturer and distributor of building materials (B2B & B2C sectors), backed up by Private Equity Fund we are looking for candidates for the position of Chief Commercial Officer. The Successful candidate will be responsible for a team of 50 FTE+ and sales of more than 250 mln EUR.

Responsibilities:

  • responsible for expansions of the business into selected European markets
  • developing new opportunities for the organisation and winning new business.
  • responsible for sales, marketing, customer service and product development / procurement functions,
  • managing a team distributed in Poland and European Markets – recruitment, setting goals, motivation and appraisal,
  • responsible for business development strategy including lead-generation, building distributor network, CRM and organic growth strategies,
  • building market awareness of brand and products,
  • attend events and conferences to build relationships with distributors, suppliers any key clients,
  • constant monitoring of competition activities,
  • responsible for P&L of Sales and Marketing organization,
  • close cooperation with R&D, Manufacturing and Logistic functions.

Requirements:

  • university degree
  • open for business travelling in Poland and Europe,
  • passion for understanding customer needs,
  • minimum 5 years of professional experience in business development role in an international B2B environment,
  • experience in industries like HVAC, equipment for energy sector, building materials will be a strong asset,
  • passion for providing market leading industry insight when it comes to upselling / cross selling and business developing,
  • excellent negotiation, strategic thinking, analytical and communication skills.
