Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Change Manager to oversee the lifecycle of all Change Requests, driving them from creation to closure in accordance with our Change Management process. This is a hybrid position based in Germany.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and Manage Change Management Process: Set up and manage the Change Management process for projects or series, including specifying and implementing the necessary infrastructure.
  • Develop Change Management Plan: Create and maintain the Change Management Plan.
  • Assess Change Requests: Conduct initial assessments and evaluations of Change Requests.
  • Organize CCB Meetings: Coordinate and facilitate Change Control Board (CCB) meetings.
  • Proposal Development: Collaborate with Change Request Initiators and experts to develop proposals for Change Gate 1.
  • Support Decision Making: Aid in decision-making processes at all Change Gates and ensure the completion of all agreed actions.
  • Monitor Change Requests: Track the status of all Change Requests and keep stakeholders informed.
Responsibilities and Authorities
  • Ensure sound implementation and adherence to the Change Management process.
  • Optimize the speed, effort, and fulfillment of the Change Management process through experience and best practices.
  • Manage the entire lifecycle of Change Requests.
  • Empowered to sign off and make decisions during the Change Management process.
  • Assign tasks to team members for analyzing impacts and risks related to Change Requests.
  • Officially release Change Team(s) and Change Team Leader(s) upon completion of Change Management tasks.
Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of Change Request documentation and processing.
  • Ability to identify dependencies and impacts of various Change Requests.
  • Proficient in organizing and moderating CCB meetings.
  • Familiarity with the Change Management tool Jira.
  • Knowledge of methods to establish and maintain traceability between Change Requests and related results/documents.
  • Excellent skills in summarizing and reporting information clearly and effectively.
