Position Overview
A proactive, forward-thinking and creative recruitment professional, with a track record of delivering top-class candidates across a multi-disciplinary technical team. In this jointly strategic and tactical role, you will be accountable for the execution of our ambitious hiring strategy, proactively sourcing diverse talent for live and future roles, building networks within the relevant talent markets and creating robust sourcing strategies that will attract the best of the best. You will need to be creative in your approach and solutions focused.
You will feel comfortable screening candidates across a variety of scientific and technical disciplines, whilst also measuring talent on our non-negotiable behaviors and company values.
To be great in this role, you will need to understand the relevant talent markets, be resilient in your approach to sourcing sometimes hard to find talent, have high emotional intelligence, and a strong desire to build relationships both internally and externally.
This role is located Warsaw, Poland.
Essential Duties
include but are not limited to the following:
Partner with hiring managers to collate full recruitment briefs, define sourcing strategy, and hiring processes; hereby clearly communicating the company’s compelling and ambitious vision to the market. Manage the full recruitment cycle; ensure every candidate experiences a first-class and fair process. Deliver an internal headhunter role, directly sourcing and building relationships with active, passive, and potential talent. Undertake screening calls for technical and broader organizational roles, assess both technical and core competency suitability. Serve as strategic partner and talent advisor to the hiring team; develop strategies for candidate sourcing and formulate innovative approaches for difficult to fill positions; provide feedback to the hiring team on open vacancies and suggest improvements to scopes and job roles which may improve recruitment, where necessary. Bring diversity and inclusion to the forefront of the company’s recruitment strategy; ensure appropriate data is collected for monitoring and informing future recruitment efforts. Act as the single point of contact for all communications with external recruitment partners, including commercial negotiations. Proactive stakeholder management, holding hiring managers to account in making recruitment decisions; provide evidence-based advice and leading discussions, where required. Work closely with HR to support the pre- and on-boarding process, ensure all new employees are engaged throughout and can hit the ground running from their first day. Ensure legal compliance and best practices are upheld throughout the recruitment and employment processes. Strong team-working skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate and partner with a range of stakeholders. Entrepreneurial approach, being solutions focused and creative in strategies. Ability to work and adapt in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment. Uphold company mission and values through accountability, innovation, integrity, quality, and teamwork. Support and comply with the company’s Quality Management System policies and procedures.Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field; or Associates degree in Human Resources or a related field and 2 years of relevant experience to include recruiting in lieu of Bachelor’s degree. 5+ years of experience working in an international environment, sourcing, and engaging candidates from different countries. Successful track record of sourcing and hiring scientific and technical talent in a life sciences environmentsuch as bioinformatics, assay development, protein engineering, chemical and epigenetics scientists, or similar roles coupled with an established network. Demonstrated accountability for end-to-end hiring process to include intake briefings, bespoke strategy design, a variety of creative sourcing approaches of active and passive candidates, technical and competency-based candidate assessment, process management, and reporting. Extensive knowledge of legislation in the recruiting process. Demonstrated understanding of how to operate in a start-up environment. Autonomous, self-sufficient, and proactive and able to manage multiple and changing priorities. Fluent to read, write, and speak English. Demonstrated ability to perform the Essential Duties of the position with or without accommodation.Preferred Qualifications
Previous in-house recruitment experience in a fast paced scientific/R&D environment. Previous experience of external supplier management and ensuring a seamless process.
