As part of our next phase of growth, we are looking for a dynamic Vicepresident of Global Sales to drive our international expansion.
Role Overview
The Head of Global Sales will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive global sales strategy aimed at expanding Xopero’s reach in the international market. The primary focus will be on identifying, developing, and managing new channel partnerships in the Target Region that will be defined as a result of the new commercial strategy. This individual will play a critical role in scaling Xopero’s sales efforts and driving revenue growth through effective partner engagement, strategic planning, and team leadership.

Reports to: Chief Sales Officer
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Strategy & Execution
Develop and implement a global sales strategy in alignment with company goals.
Identify target regions for expansion, prioritize opportunities, and create tailored market entry plans.
2. Channel Partner Development
Lead the recruitment, onboarding, and management of new channel partners, including Managed Service Providers (MSPs).
Develop and execute a value proposition that appeals to different types of channel partners across diverse geographies.
Facilitate key introductions to potential channel partners in target regions and guide them through onboarding.
3. Market Expansion
Focus on key markets defined within the Target Region as well as opportunities in other countries.
Analyze potential markets and create performance indicators that measure progress and guide regional development strategies.
4. Team Leadership & Collaboration
Manage and collaborate with the existing team of two sales professionals, and support the onboarding of additional team members to ensure effective scaling of sales operations.
Build and lead a high-performing global sales team to support business growth.
Work cross-functionally with marketing, product, and executive teams to align sales initiatives with broader company objectives.
5. Revenue Growth & Performance Tracking
Set clear revenue targets and performance indicators for the global sales team.
Track and report on sales activities and results, using data to refine strategies and ensure sustainable growth.
6. Customer Relationship Management
Develop and nurture strong relationships with customers, channel partners, and potential clients.
Serve as an ambassador of Xopero’s brand, ensuring satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
Key Requirements
Experience
Minimum of 8-10 years of sales leadership experience, ideally in cybersecurity or data protection sectors and in companies with headquarters in the European Union.
Proven track record in managing international sales teams and driving global expansion efforts.
Strong experience in building and managing channel sales networks, including MSPs.
Skills
Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and manage a distributed team.
Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills to effectively engage with channel partners and customers.
Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and an ability to assess market opportunities and devise appropriate strategies.
Ability to work independently while being a collaborative team player.
Other Requirements
Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Willingness to travel internationally as required for partner engagement and market development.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in or familiarity with the EU & CEE regions is a plus.
Previous experience in data protection, cybersecurity, or related fields is advantageous.
Fluency in multiple languages is a plus.
Compensation
The compensation package will be competitive and aligned with the industry standards, with additional performance-based incentives.

1. Revenue Growth
Achieve specific revenue targets in key target regions (e.g., the UK, Europe, Latin America, Asia) within defined timeframes.
Percentage growth of international sales compared to the previous year.
2. Channel Partner Acquisition
Number of new channel partners onboarded within the first 12 months.
Establish partnerships in at least three key target regions within the first year.
3. Market Penetration
Percentage increase in market share in the identified target regions.
Successful entry into the defined Target Region within the first 12 months.
4. Sales Pipeline Development
Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, measured by the number of qualified opportunities and their potential value.
Maintain an active pipeline with at least 3x coverage of the monthly or quarterly sales target.
5. Customer Retention and Satisfaction
Customer satisfaction rating with channel partners (measured through surveys or Net Promoter Score).
Retention rate of channel partners after the first year of collaboration.
6. Team Development
Successful recruitment and onboarding of key members of the global sales team.
Measurable improvement in team performance and productivity over a 12-month period.
7. Performance Against Strategic Objectives
Achievement of specific strategic milestones, such as the launch of sales initiatives in the Target Region.
Effectiveness in establishing and measuring KPIs for channel partners and target regions.
8. Partner Engagement
Percentage of active channel partners, those that are transacting regularly and have an active pipeline.
Frequency and quality of engagement with channel partners.
