REGIONAL SALES DIRECTOR

to oversee the operations, performance, and development of Poland, Ukraine, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.

About the Role:

This role involves strategic planning, business development, and ensuring operational excellence across multiple locations within the region. The Regional Director will lead a team of Country Managers and staff to achieve company objectives, maximize profitability, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:Strategic Planning and Execution:
  1. Develop and implement regional business strategies that align with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  2. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and economic factors to identify opportunities and threats.
Operational Management:
  1. Oversee day-to-day operations within the region, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
  2. Conduct regular performance reviews and audits to maintain high standards of service and operational excellence.
  3. Develop and manage the regional budget, ensuring cost-effective operations and adherence to financial targets.
  4. Analyze financial reports and data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Team Leadership and Development:
  1. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of managers and staff.
  2. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting continuous learning and professional development.
Customer Relationship Management:
  1. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by maintaining strong relationships with key clients and addressing their needs and concerns promptly.
  2. Implement strategies to enhance customer experience and loyalty.
Business Development:
  1. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the region to drive growth and expansion.
  2. Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop and execute effective promotional campaigns.
Compliance and Risk Management:
  1. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  2. Identify potential risks and implement strategies to mitigate them.
Competencies, Experience, and Skills:
  1. Professional Business English in speech and writing.
  2. 8-10 years of experience in technical sales (renewable energy is a big plus)
  3. IT literate.
  4. Higher degree (faculty of management or economics preferred).
  5. 3+ years in project & team management, partnership development, and sales.
  6. Proven experience as a Regional Director or in a similar senior management role.
  7. Strong understanding of business operations, financial management, and strategic planning.
  8. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  9. Ability to analyze complex data, make informed decisions, and solve problems effectively.
  10. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
