As a Senior Application Support Specialist at PAYBACK, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the availability of our applications for our customers in Italy, Austria, and Poland. You will work closely with our development colleagues to identify and resolve issues, ensuring that our applications are running smoothly and efficiently.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide level 2 support for our applications, working in a DevOps model to ensure seamless collaboration between development and operations teams.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including business partners, leadership, and non-technical end-users.
  • Analyze performance issues and incidents, using your troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve problems.
  • Work with our development team to implement continuous improvements and ensure application availability.
  • Monitor application performance, using DevOps tools to identify and resolve issues.
  • Collaborate with external service providers and partners to ensure consistent service delivery across our platform.

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience as a Support Engineer, with a focus on monitoring, incident, problem, and change management procedures following ITIL processes.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with knowledge of ELK, Grafana, and Icinga.
  • Experience with Linux operating systems, including shell and Python scripting.
  • SQL knowledge, with PL/SQL knowledge an advantage.
  • Experience with operation of Apache, Tomcat, WebLogic, Oracle, OpenShift, and GCP.
  • Working knowledge of flat file and XML-based batch processing.
  • Strong ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders.
