The Application Support Specialist will be part of a dynamic team responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of applications for PAYBACK Italy, Mexico, Austria, and Poland.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with operations and development colleagues to deliver high-quality application operations.
  • Provide 2nd-level support, working closely with development teams to foster a DevOps culture and SRE environment.
  • Interface with external service providers, partners, and business sponsors to ensure consistent service delivery across the platform.
  • Manage incidents, problems, and changes, utilizing automated tools to analyze performance issues and incidents.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot using automated tools to analyze performance issues and incidents.
  • Work with web (Apache/Tomcat), application servers (Weblogic), and Oracle in the backend using Linux platform.
  • Support automated deployments and detect production issues using proactive alerts and visualizing server health.
  • Be prepared to work in an on-call model.

Your Profile:

  • 3 years of operations experience in application support teams, with a focus on monitoring, incident, problem, and change management procedures following ITIL processes.
  • 2nd-level operation experience, supporting/troubleshooting web (Apache/Tomcat), application servers (Weblogic), Oracle as database, understanding of XML, JSON, Web Services technologies.
  • Solid knowledge of Linux systems with scripting skills, e.g., Python, Bash.
  • Experience with alerting and monitoring tools.
  • Strong ability to communicate clearly with Business Partners, Leadership, non-technical end-users, Technical SMEs, and vendors.
