Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Associate to join our Payments Operations team in Cracow, Poland. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our payment processes, including payments preparation, review, and release.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform complex end-to-end payments processes, including payments preparation, review, and release.
  • Analyze banking statements and assist with financial and tax audits.
  • Assist in documentation and monitoring of internal controls, performing other projects and/or reports as assigned.
  • Monitor and confirm to direct manager the completeness of daily tasks delivery at the end of each business day.
  • Develop and maintain close working relations with business locations.
  • Implement and document change, and investigate its implications.
  • Gather, validate, and objectively analyze relevant information to identify key issues, draw sound conclusions, and make decisions on the appropriate course of action.
  • Be the first point of contact and provide opinion on team staff improvements' suggestions; process improvements, application upgrade, or different tasks allocation.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of Professional experience in finance and/or other related fields.
  • Knowledge of international payments/settlements would be beneficial.
  • Ability to adhere to multiple deadlines, with good time management and the ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team of people.
  • An innovative and structured approach to work, coupled with an ability to continuously identify and implement process improvements.
  • Willingness to take ownership of problems and ability to communicate with clients, and colleagues at all levels whilst being customer service focused.
  • PC application knowledge and good Excel skill set are necessary.
  • Advance Language skills, written and verbal in English and country language if required.
