Job Description:
We are looking for a seasoned Project Engineer who can provide strategic guidance and business architecture expertise to senior management.
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough business analysis, collaborating with IT architects, and leading cross-functional programs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing strategic guidance and business architecture expertise to senior management on operational trends, process optimisation, and business risks.
- Conducting thorough business analysis on complex challenges, leveraging internal and external data sources to inform decision-making and drive actionable insights.
- Collaborating with IT architects to ensure that technology and infrastructure support business goals.
- Leading and overseeing cross-functional, business-critical programs and initiatives, coordinating with internal teams and external partners to meet strategic objectives.
- Driving product design and implementing innovative business solutions, ensuring alignment with corporate standards and regulatory requirements.
- Identifying and evaluating risks and opportunities, providing strategic recommendations that enhance business performance and support cost and resource management.
- Driving digital transformation initiatives across Europe and navigating change management procedures.
- Developing comprehensive reports, business plans, and strategic proposals for senior leadership, influencing corporate goals and initiatives.
- Ensuring continued compliance with company internal processes, industry standards, and legislative requirements across all program phases.
Requirements:
- A degree or professional qualification in Engineering, Business, or a related technical discipline.
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
- 5-10 years of relevant experience in program-, project-, and/or product management, engineering, or a related field, with a proven track record of leading cross-functional initiatives and managing vendors.
- Strong planning and organising skills, with experience in developing and improving team processes and procedures. Familiarity with research, data analysis, and applying technical solutions to complex problems.
- Expertise in managing high-impact projects with the ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams. Experience in forward planning and organising work over mid-term periods (up to a quarter).
- Experience in managing and supervising the work of vendors, including occasional interaction with external suppliers and consultants.
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.
