About the Role

We're seeking a talented FPGA Design Expert to join our global R&D organization in Krakow, Poland. As a key member of our team, you'll contribute to the development of next-generation HVDC control and protection systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in the full design cycle of next-generation HVDC control and protection systems based on FPGA modules from world-class vendors.
  • Scout and evaluate applicable solutions based on project requirements, with a real impact on requirements and final solutions.
  • Develop, simulate, and validate using VHDL + ModelSim + VUnit.
  • Contribute to continuous integration processes.
  • Prototyping and testing on real HW in modern laboratories.
  • Cooperate with international teams under Agile/SAFe methodology.

Requirements

  • At least a Master's degree in Electronics/Control Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in FPGA/ASIC design & simulation in VHDL/(and/or Verilog).
  • Good understanding of synchronous design, time constraining, and static timing analysis.
  • Experience with laboratory equipment, prototyping, and testing.
  • Strong commitment to safe work practices and dedication to following all relevant workplace safety guidelines.
