About this role

We are seeking a Strategic Growth Business Developer to join our team in Poland. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building relationships with clients, and driving revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

  • Hunt for new business opportunities using your expertise and Steelcase's resources.
  • Collaborate strategically with Steelcase teams and act as the local expert.
  • Lead client relationships and coordinate with dealers to deliver top-notch services.
  • Manage projects with precision, ensuring smooth transitions and strong pipeline.
  • Build long-term working relationships with multiple functions within the client organization, specifiers, marketing and product experts, and other relevant partners and distributors as part of a complex sales approach.

About you

You will be a go-getter with a hunter mentality, always on the lookout for new opportunities. Your curiosity drives you, and you are skilled in understanding and solving client issues. A natural leader, you excel in a collaborative environment, guiding others to success while driving your own achievements.

Minimum qualifications

  • At least 3 years of experience in consultative sales with a proven record of success.
  • A background in New Business Development and working with distribution partners.
  • Fluent in Polish and English.
  • Strong critical thinking and communication skills, able to engage at all levels, including C-suite.
  • Project management expertise with a knack for storytelling and persuasion.
  • Proficient use of IT support tools such as CRM, Outlook calendars, tablets, smartphones, and comfortable interaction via webinars, live video applications, virtual meeting tools, and business applications.
