About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure and Operations Manager to lead our Infrastructure & Operations Team of 9 members. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for creating a transparent, agile environment based on GetResponse's core values and work standards.

Your primary goal will be to ensure the reliability, performance, and security of our IT infrastructure. To achieve this, you will work closely with the Platform Technology Director and lead the team to achieve key results.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and a proven track record of managing complex IT environments. You will be responsible for defining, implementing, and improving the IT technical and operational environment for the company, both internal and outsourced.

You will also be responsible for managing daily operations of the IT infrastructure, including monitoring, incident response, and troubleshooting. Additionally, you will plan and execute infrastructure projects, including upgrades, migrations, and deployments.

We are looking for a charismatic leader who can inspire both junior and senior team members to grow, through coaching and mentoring. If you have a Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience, and 8+ years in IT infrastructure management, with 5+ years in leadership roles, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Infrastructure & Operations Team to achieve key results
  • Work with the team on a daily basis, focusing on their talents and strengths
  • Define, implement, and improve the IT technical and operational environment for the company
  • Manage daily operations of the IT infrastructure
  • Plan and execute infrastructure projects
  • Collaborate with external equipment and service vendors
  • Manage the team and the IT infrastructure budget
Requirements
  • Passionate and creative IT manager with an innovative approach and focus on high-quality solutions

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years in IT infrastructure management, with 5+ years in leadership roles
  • Strong knowledge of web applications, developer tools, and infrastructure and modern cloud platforms
  • Familiarity with Big Data solutions, virtualization, Docker, and Kubernetes
  • Effective project management skills, with experience in planning and executing IT projects
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills
  • Ability to think strategically and execute tactically
  • Very good communication and cooperation skills, as well as an empathic personality
