Job SummaryThis role involves providing end-to-end operations support for Oracle databases across various environments, including production and non-production settings. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing database upgrades, patches, and configurations, as well as implementing high availability and disaster recovery solutions.
About the Role- Key Responsibilities:
- Create and configure Oracle databases in production and non-production environments.
- Implement and manage Oracle Data Guard for high availability and disaster recovery.
- Perform regular backups and restore databases as needed.
- Monitor and analyze database performance to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless database operations.
- Deploy approved scripts provided by the application team.
- Participate in root cause analysis to resolve incidents promptly.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in supporting and implementing Oracle databases.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle database management, including data guard and backup/restore procedures.
- Experience with Oracle database administration tools and monitoring software.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- A competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
