Job Summary

The Problem Resolution Manager coordinates engineering efforts to resolve issues in our power electronics inverters throughout their lifecycle. This role requires collaboration with project leads, engineering teams, and frequent customer interface.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain effective communication and develop strong working relationships with customers and suppliers.
  • Establish and maintain a communication link between the engineering department and project teams to track defect status.
  • Define project problem/defect management strategies.
  • Analyze defects and plan their corrections.
  • Track defect resolution and classify defects based on priority and severity.
  • Close out defect reports and analyze problem trends.
  • Determine the impact of the problem on the project.
  • Support project teams in root cause analysis and lessons learned archive.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, or Software Engineering. A Master's degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Experience in the automotive industry with increasing responsibility, particularly in systems engineering.
  • Strong working knowledge of software development lifecycle.
  • Experience working in high-pressure environments.
  • Analytical, technical, and statistical skills for root cause analysis, including DFMEA, FMEA, FMEDA, 8-D, and FTA analysis.
  • Understanding of power electronics, electric motors, and controls is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of effort estimation and work tracking.
  • Experience with A-SPICE and Polarion, JIRA, or similar tools.
  • Global experience working with multiple regions and cultures.
  • Fluency in English is required, with German and/or French being an advantage.
