Job Title: Senior R&D Electronics PCB Design Engineer

Hitachi Energy Poland Sp. z o.o. is seeking a highly skilled Senior R&D Electronics PCB Design Engineer to join our team in Krakow, Poland.

About the Role:

We are looking for a talented and experienced electronics engineer to design and develop high-performance PCBs for our power electronics products. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design process, from concept to delivery, and will work closely with our cross-functional team to ensure the successful development of our products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop high-performance PCBs for power electronics products
  • Lead the design process, from concept to delivery
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product development
  • Develop and maintain measurement and test setups to verify performance, efficiency, and robustness
  • Contribute to solving technical challenges related to EMC/EMI, thermal management, and safety
Requirements:
  • MSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or comparable
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in the field
  • Proven experience with development processes for power electronic converters or power supplies
  • Competence with working with laboratory equipment and converter prototyping and testing
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
