HR Operations Manager

As a key member of the Sonova team, you will be responsible for leading all aspects of HR operations in a selected area to ensure compliance with employment regulations, company policies, and best practices. Your role will involve acting as a liaison between HR, candidates, employees, and managers to ensure smooth communication and prompt resolution of all queries.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies to drive business growth and improve employee engagement.
  • Manage various aspects of HR operations, including recruitment, talent management, and employee relations.
  • Collaborate with external payroll providers to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
  • Support employee relations by providing guidance and clarification on policies and their application.
  • Act as a personnel processes expert to ensure compliance with labor law and Sonova corporate rules.
  • Participate in and/or lead projects focused on continuous improvement of HR processes.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to achieve shared goals and objectives.

Your Profile:

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in local HR, with a proven track record of success.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role within the organization, with a team of at least 50 employees.
  • Experience in personnel administration, including payroll and benefits.
  • Ability to work independently, with a can-do mentality and a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to mentor and coach stakeholders.
  • Ability to resolve complex interpersonal situations and support disciplinary meetings and discussions.
  • Customer-oriented, reliable, patient, open-minded, and able to collaborate with people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of labor law regulations, HR information systems, and HR processes.
  • Proficiency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
