Job Title: IT Purchasing Specialist

Join our team at expondo, a dynamic and ambitious global company, as an IT Purchasing Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for acquiring all IT-related equipment, software licenses, and subscriptions necessary for our organization's operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure reliable supply chains.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies for IT equipment, licenses, and subscriptions.
  • Process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Manage the entire procurement cycle from requisition to delivery.
  • Prepare and manage the IT procurement budget, monitoring and reporting on expenditure to ensure alignment with the budget.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors, including terms, pricing, and service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of IT equipment, software licenses, and subscriptions, conducting regular audits to ensure records are up-to-date.
  • Manage asset lifecycle, including disposal of obsolete equipment.
  • Work closely with IT, finance, and other departments to understand their needs and ensure procurement aligns with organizational goals.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in IT procurement or a similar role.
  • Experience with vendor management and contract negotiation.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Analytical skills to assess and compare product offerings.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
